Tannvi Bangalore, KarnatakaI was born in Delhi and brought up all over India. I am a profound leader and a human rights supporter. I want to write a book on International Women's Human Rights and want to become a social activist and an international figure of human rights and justice. I also have keen interest in ADR mechanism because of the exposure I had all through my growing years which taught me that the Indian Judicial System has lost it's faith in people because of diminishing efficiency. My very close relative's marriage dispute couldn't be resolved in 8 years and because of this the children in the family suffered mental and emotional tension in their prime age. The family was unaware of mediation. But this incident inspired me to bring a radical change in our system. This campaigning of mediation is one way in which I want to get closer to my goal of a change! I haven't spent enough time in the law school, but these few months has given me an insight into a plethora of opportunities which this career provides to bring a change in our society. The Indian Mediation Week has given me a platform to give back my bit to the world! All my campaigns of awareness are in and around the places with civil disputes, like- Civil Court Complex, Local Markets and Slums. These awareness movements has given me a window to see the issues and lack of awareness amongst people coupled with frauds and deceit by lawyers, relatives and friends. This has motivated me to spread the word of Mediation as an option to solve disputes fastly and cheaply along with no hustle of court procedures.
