Purbayan Chakraborty is a 1st year law student , pursing his 5 years B.A.,LL.B(Honours) course from Karnataka State Law University's Law School, Hubli. He was born and brought up in a village named Chanchal comes in the state of West Bengal. Having completed his schooling from Chanchal Siddheswari Institution, he chose to join KSLU to pursue law as his career.
He has interned under Sudipto Ganguly, special public prosecutor, narcotics control bureau. He has presented his research papers in different domains in several national and international conferences. He was a delegate in international law association's all India Seminar on international commercial law. He was a part of the team which represented his law school in N.R. Madhavamenon SAARC Moot Court Competition, 2017. He is also working as a legal advisor to Teknesya Networks Pvt. Ltd., a software and web developing company.
He is of the opinion that In order to overcome the much criticised delay and unreasonable legal expense in justice delivery, adoption of alternative dispute resolution is the only way out. The mediation mechanism can be a supporting agent to climb up the ladder of justice for ALL.
