Prapti Singh, 21 is 3rd Year Law Student from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, GGSIP University, Delhi.
She believes that law can bring about change and her genuine fondness for law inspires her to work for the social structure of the country. She is keen to use her legal ability for the unempowered and the youth. Law is the tool to bridge the gap between the people and the authorities. It`s time that the common man is aware about all his legal rights and duties.
Mediation is the answer to access to justice in India. Sadly maximum population is unaware of this concept. Knowledge of ADR came o after joining law school. It is a very important tool for out of court settlement in a country like India where thousands of cases are on an average pending. I have actively participated in Nukkad Natak and taken classes in governmental schools. I have the required experience and ideas to spread the awareness. I promise to give in all hard work and complete the task is hand that is spreading awareness to the common man. Going to the people and asking about any legal case they are or their family is dealing with and helping them getting in touch with the necessary firm. Performing Nukkad and singing Jingles to attract more people. This would be my basic outline of my plan.
